Reserving your stay at the Jacobson Building is easy — by phone, by email, or with the inquiry form. Availability is year round.
How to Book
By Telephone
Call 843-556-5629 between 9 AM and 9 PM. If we are away from the phone, please leave a message with your dates and party size and we will return your call.
By Email
Write to jgjacobson@comcast.net. Because we operate from our home, we often respond late at night and early morning.
By Web Form
Use the inquiry form on our contact page and we will get right back to you with availability and confirmation details.
Policies & Payment
- All rates are net — no commissions are added
- All South Carolina sales and accommodations taxes are included in the rates quoted
- All major credit cards are accepted
- 2% discount for payment by check
- 50% payment required for vacations booked within 60 days of occupancy; balance due 2 weeks prior to arrival
- $200 refundable security deposit required on all rentals; the deposit is refunded upon vacating the property
- Cancellation: full refund if a replacement renter is found, less a $100 handling fee
- $100 cleaning fee added to full week rentals and/or full house rental
- 2 day minimum stay; monthly rates quoted upon request
- No pets and no smoking
Plan Your Stay
Every unit includes private phone, high speed internet, TV/VCR, microwave, refrigerator and laundry room access, with linens provided and complimentary coffee and tea. Fully stocked kitchens make it easy to settle in like a local.
Park in one of the nearby city garages and explore historic Charleston on foot — by horse drawn carriage, on a ghost tour, or with a stroll down King Street's shops and galleries.
