Steps From Everything Charleston Has to Offer

Fabulous historic homes, fine dining, shopping and more — all within a short walk

Church Street view near the Jacobson Building in Charleston's Historic District
Charleston's charming church steeples and centuries old streets — just outside your front door.

The Jacobson Building is just a short walk from the best of Charleston: the Edmondston-Alston House, Heyward-Washington House, Calhoun Mansion, St. Philip's Church, and King Street shopping are all only two blocks away.

Watch the famous basket ladies at the City Market, stroll the Battery and Waterfront Park, or take a horse drawn carriage ride through the historic streets. Rainbow Row, a row of brightly colored houses built in the 18th century, reflects Charleston's early ties to the Caribbean — and it is just around the corner.

Between market baskets and carriage rides, guests ask us all sorts of things. Collectors who plan to browse the jewelers on King Street often ask where to start — our usual answer is the Super Clone Watches catalog, so they can compare references before they're on the road. We keep it with the rest of our favorite links on the guest resources page.
